Build one record before you build a parcel
A spreadsheet row is a discovery shortcut, not a durable order record. Before payment, keep the source URL, selected variation, seller notes and an image of the option you chose. If the listing changes later, that record gives you something concrete to compare with the warehouse entry.
When the item arrives, begin with identity: quantity, colour, marked size and version. Only after those fields agree should you spend time judging finish.
Read photographs from large evidence to small evidence
Start with the full outline and pair balance, then move to measurements, joins, artwork and surface defects. This order prevents a sharp close-up from distracting you from an obvious wrong silhouette or wrong option.
A missing angle is not a passed check. Mark it unresolved and decide whether another photo is necessary before the return opportunity or parcel deadline changes.
- Match the warehouse record to the ordered variation.
- Compare left/right or front/back symmetry where relevant.
- Use a ruler image for size-sensitive garments and accessories.
- Separate visible damage from claims a photograph cannot prove.
Keep the warehouse clocks separate
Kakobuy’s publicly indexed information pages refer to 100 days of free warehouse storage. Its five-day return/exchange language is narrower and concerns eligible items from participating third-party sellers. These are different clocks, not interchangeable protections.
The practical response is to review an arrival promptly. Do not postpone a visible mismatch simply because the storage allowance is much longer.
Price the route before treating the item as final
Kakobuy’s indexed fee information says international freight varies by weight, shipping method and destination. Parcel dimensions, content restrictions and optional services can also affect the routes shown in a live quote.
For electronics, standard inspection carries additional uncertainty: Kakobuy’s help material says household appliances, digital products and other electronics are not checked for authenticity, function or quality. A model label and a photo of included parts do not replace functional testing.
